Being an Average Creator Sucks

It’s not illegal if everyone else does it

If I could get a “do-over” in this creator business.

I wouldn’t:

  • build a website
  • spend hours on Canva creating social media posts
  • join engagement pods for the “fun” of it (it’s not fun, and I left real quick)

Most creators spend a whole lot of their time on low level activities.

Activities that don’t put a priority on:

Sustainability + Profit

I call it the “hope & pray” strategy.

Hoping to “get money” is not a strategy.

I do believe in prayer, but not if there’s no action backing it.

Guru advice purposely keeps you behind (and poor).

The guru’s are trendy and it’s in their best interest to sell you crap that stops working 3 months later.

Because….they make money off of selling you the “newest trends.”

I call it how I see it.

I realized (after many years later) that it’s not in my best interest to be like “everyone else.”

Because being everyone else = being average.
