How to Build Bulletproof Creator Resilience
Because it’s scary
I remember reading a line in Fastlane Millionaire by MJ Demarco (great book by the way).
It said something like:
“If you want to make a million dollars figure out how to serve a million people.”
Fresh off of 8th grade graduation I told my mom that I’ll be a millionaire by the time I’m 25.
Well, my 25th birthday just passed.
And I’m far from the goal, but the roadmap hasn’t changed (I’m still on track).
But I’m starting to see the real possibility of making it happen.
And it’s scary.
Creator growth comes at a cost:
Growing pains.
I no longer wonder whether or not I’ll be “successful,” I just know it to be true.
However, knew dare devils are taking up my mind:
- Am I worthy of it?
- Do I really want to serve a million people?
- Can I actually help a million people?
The “people pleasing” energy takes over,
It stops you in your tracks and makes you rethink…everything.
