I love it when people address the elephant in the room. Kuddos to you for bringing up a great question!
Does this automation really pay off?
I think it does for a few reasons. Granted, you have to identify what you consider a payoff first, for me it's time.
Here's why:
- it allows me to create more content on the front end to cater to the YouTube algorithm.
- by having content created on the front end for me automatically it gives me time on the backend to create quality short videos without worrying about "creating content quickly" to stay relevant to YouTube (there will be an automation article on how I do this soon - I'm so excited!)
- It's another traffic source, for both YouTube and Medium. In my short videos I usually have a call to action to view the description for my Medium blog. Which then drives traffic -> views -> income on the Medium platform. ALSO, it drives traffic to my current Youtube videos which will help with my watch hours to get monetized.
Regarding Royalty Free Music:
- I am working on an automation to add royalty free music to the videos automatically and I think I have a working solution, stay tuned!
Isn't a genuine video, created by yourself, far more worth the investment?
Who's to say that I didn't create this video by myself? I worked really hard on putting the automation together myself, pre-filmed content (as any content creator would), and mapped out the text that I would state in the video itself. If I used automation to mix it all together than I think I've leveraged my time way better - that's my end goal.
I hope this clarifies things! Thank you for bringing this up!
