It was supposed to be a “fun activity,”

That ended up turning into a 3am challenge.

I’ve been wanting to try new home activities outside of binge watching Gilmore Girls for the 5th time (the show never fails me).

So as I did my “me time” shopping spree at TJ Max (anyone else do this?),

I came across a puzzle.

“What a fun way to kill time?”

My partner & I really thought we could finish a 500 piece puzzle when we started at 9pm:

Overambition did not serve us that night.

I initially took lead and said we need to find all the straight edges.

Because straight edges = puzzle borders (fun tip)

So we choose to “divide & conquer.”

They separated all the straight edges,

I assembled.

We were feeling pretty confident — got the frame of the puzzle down in 30 minutes.

Then it came down to the “middle section.”
